ARP

When mounting the ARP crankshaft bolt, ARP grease is applied to the thread and installation surface for the bolt shell.

When using ARP top bolt / stud bolt, ARP grease should be used.

Note that the grease should only be applied to the bolt shell / nut and the corresponding side of the washer, and of course on the threads.

The side of the washer facing the cylinder head should be free of grease.

Otherwise, an excessive torque occurs on the bolt / screw.

One can usefully roughen the side of the tray located on the top cover with a coarse sandpaper.

When mounting the ARP crankshaft bolt, ARP grease is applied to the thread and installation surface for the bolt shell.
